A fantastic night of music and fundraising!

🎶 St Mark’s Church was packed with a wonderful audience on Saturday 10 October for BHCCA’s sell-out Rock Choir evening – and what a brilliant atmosphere it was! A huge thank you to Bromley Rock Choir and Choirmaster Michael for their excellent performance and to everyone who came along and supported us. Together, we raised an amazing £1,600, which will help BHCCA continue its important work supporting older and vulnerable people in our local community. Thank you all for helping make it such a memorable and successful evening.

Sunshine, songs & smiles at the BHCCA Summer Party

Thanks to the generosity of recent donations, we have been fortunate enough to provide regular monthly entertainment for our members, giving them something special to look forward to throughout the year. Earlier in the summer, our members enjoyed a Summer Party, with live entertainment from Sweet Harmony and a delicious afternoon tea – and one lucky raffle winner went home with a hamper packed full of goodies.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Your generosity enables us to provide regular entertainment and activities that our members can look forward to throughout the year, making a real difference to the lives of frail and elderly people in our community. We are dedicated to supporting older people through our day centre, lunch club, shopping scheme and art group, helping people stay connected and improving wellbeing. If you know someone who could benefit from our services, we’d love to hear from you. Together, we can continue to support those who need us most.

June 27th Community Carnival raises £400 for BHCCA

We were delighted to be part of this much-loved annual event once again, welcoming visitors to our stall, chatting about the work we do and enjoying the chance to meet so many members of our local community – plus, the sun shone all day! Our now-famous raffle was a great attraction, with our magnificent hamper tempting lots of people to try their luck. Congratulations to our lucky winner, who took home an array of amazing goodies.

Most importantly, thanks to the generosity of everyone who visited our stall, bought raffle tickets and supported us throughout the day, we raised a fantastic £400 for BHCCA. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success – our volunteers who gave their time, those who donated prizes and everyone who stopped by to say hello. Your kindness and generosity help us continue our work in the community.

Bringing generations together – thank you Honeys Nursery

Everyone at BHCCA would like to say a big thank you to the children and staff from Honeys Nursery, who have regularly visited our Day Centre over the past year. Their visits have brought so much fun, laughter and happiness to our members. Whether singing songs, playing games or simply spending time together, the children have been wonderful company, and it’s been a joy to see the friendships and smiles that have grown through these visits.

Recently, the children came to see us for the last time before they begin primary school in September and to thank them, each child was given a Chocolate Orange as a small token of our appreciation. We wish every one of them the very best as they start their exciting new journey at ‘big school’.

Thank you Waitrose Biggin Hill!

We’d like to thank the staff at Waitrose Biggin Hill and all their customers who supported us through the Green Token Community Matters Scheme earlier this year. We are delighted to have been awarded a generous £1,000 donation, which will be used to benefit the members who take part in our activities and help us continue providing valuable support within our community. We greatly appreciate the support given to our local charity.
