Our Day Centre provides a friendly and sociable environment where you will be supported by our caring staff. We have a regular entertainment programme and provide a meal that is prepared in our own kitchen on the premises.
Who is it for?
Older people living in or around Biggin Hill who need a level of support or for carers who need regular respite. We are able to support the those who are experiencing isolation, frailty, a physical disability, early stages of Dementia, or have suffered a stroke.
Our Day Centre is open on Tuesdays and Thursday from 10am to 3.30pm.
If you live locally, our minibus is normally available to collect and take you home. This can be discussed when you inquire about coming to the Centre. There is a small charge for this service.
How to access our services
You can make your own enquiries directly with the Centre Manager if you will be paying for your own care or you may be referred by Social Services if they are supporting you. The daily charge is £28 which includes a three course meal, all refreshments during the day and most of the activities that take place at the Centre. (The charge is subject to review annually.)
Our Centre Manager will come to your home to talk about coming to the Centre and make an assessment of your needs.
We offer a free ‘taster’ session to see if this service is right for you. We will only charge you for the cost of the lunch.
Please contact the Centre Manager to discuss any questions that you may have. The best time would be during the opening hours of the Centre, but an answerphone is available outside of these hours. Please look at the contacts page of this website for more details.
