COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. Its caused by a virus called Coronavirus

Following publication of HM Government COVID-19: guidance on social distancing and for vulnerable people (issued 16 March) the Trustees and Management Committee have taken the decision to suspend some of our services until such time as this guidance changes and we are able to resume operation.

The committee met on 17 March to discuss and implement contingency plans to ensure the safety and well being of all our members, staff and volunteers. We will be contacting all our services users to keep them updated and ensure they have appropriate support networks around them.

We are aware that this is going to be a very difficult time for many people and we will do our best to provide support, advice and information to our community and members, if there is anything we can do to help or assist you, or you need further information, please contact us by telephoning the office 01959 577400. Please note our office is only staffed and telephone messages checked on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

There have been some media reports of unscrupulous people taking advantage of vulnerable people as a result of the current situation, please remind your family, friends and those you care for, not to open the door to people they do not know or have not made prior contact with and they should ask for assistance from trusted people if they are in need.
